I thought it was the new Asian one they had just announced, but inside the guitar it had a label stating it was made in USA, and the guy behind the counter told me it was all solid wood, which the Asian version wasn't. I also saw a USA version of the Epi John Lennon J160-E acoustic/electric in another Phoenix guitar store, the only one I ever saw. production that came out to a few select shops just before they released the overseas models. I never heard any explanation for them, but they were U.S. I found some at a small Pawn Shop chain in Phoenix at one point, and my Brother bought two of them there, and found the third model at another store around the same time.
